Ahead of DTX + UCX Europe 2022 we’re encouraging exhibitors to get involved and contribute their content to help promote their involvement at the show.

  • Blog content If you have a speaker at the show we are also keen to feature content from them - short blog posts on a topic related to their talk are often popular with our audience.

All we ask is that the content you submit is recent, includes a link to your website or the original article and that you include a short sentence at the end mentioning your involvement at the show with your stand number.

When you allow your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor on their stand at DTX + UCX Europe you are consenting to your ‘business card’ data being provided to that exhibitor. They may use this data for things such as marketing their goods or services, analytics and statistics. Some of these exhibitors and sponsors may also be located outside the EEA therefore, in consenting to giving them your personal data, you are consenting to the transfer of your data outside the EEA in some cases. Where seminars and theatres are sponsored at DTX + UCX Europe, as joint hosts of the sessions the show organiser - Imago Techmedia - and the theatre/seminar sponsors will use the legal basis of ‘legitimate interest’ to contact you directly after the event. If you prefer not to receive legitimate interest communications from sponsors, please visit the on-site registration desks or speak to theatre staff to register your preferences. Again, we would recommend your first communication to be to seek their consent to continue to hear from you, and that you apply your own lawfulness of process thereafter.

IMPORTANT: The exhibitor's use of personal data is subject to the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018. As an exhibitor at IRX, you have access to a wide range of PR tools and support from our dedicated agency, CI Group. They can provide free PR advice and guide you through the opportunities available both leading up to the event and during the show itself.

Our PR team is here to help you achieve the best possible results and maximize your ROI from participating in IRX. Media from across the UK and beyond will be covering IRX in the run up to the show, as well as attending the show itself—and this is your opportunity to get in front of them!

1. Writing & distributing a press release

  • “KISS”—Keep It Short and Simple! Ensure you share news that’s relevant to your participation at the show – launching a new product or service onsite? Celebrating a business milestone or new partnership? Perfect.
  • Include information about IRX within the copy. You’re welcome to add our standard paragraph about the show (available upon request from the PR team). Use and edit it as needed.
  • Feature your stand number at the top of the copy. We also recommend including information such as your on-site phone number, email address and press contact.
  • Accompany the copy with a good-quality, high-resolution photo (300dpi minimum).
  • Share your press release with your media contacts. The PR team will have a list of media partners and attending media which they can share with you nearer to the show (available upon request from the PR team).
  • Finally, share your news with us! The PR team will review exhibitor news and include in relevant PR content.

2. Your press events

  • Hosting a press event on your stand is a great way to promote yourself to the wide range of media present at IRX —but only if you have a strong news story.
  • A strong news story can include the following: a new product or service, significant business growth or expansion, the launch of a new campaign/research, major new appointments.
  • The PR team will have a list of media partners and attending media which they can share with you nearer to the show (available upon request). All exhibitors are responsible for managing their own press events and inviting the media.
  • Don’t forget to update the PR team on any press events you’re hosting – we can include this in our PR outreach in the run up to the show as well as in our media briefings at the onsite Press Centre. Please complete this form >>

3. Social media

Be sure to include our hashtag #IRX22 in your social media activity before, during and after the show and follow us across our social media channels: Twitter; Facebook; Instagram.

4. On-site Press Centre support 

The IRX PR team will be at the on-site Press Centre throughout the two days of the show. Come and meet us, ask questions and keep us up-to-date with any changes in your plans, such as breaking news.

You can share information with the press onsite by creating digital press packs (USBs). Simply drop it off at the onsite Press Centre within the VIP & Speaker Lounge on the first day of the show, Wednesday 12 October.
